ABSTRACT
After revising some of the uses of music therapy in the medical field, the writer expounds the case of a 13 year-old oncological patient under a music therapy treatment. After analysing the needs the patient suffering from leukaemia has, the therapeutical objectives are specified, the different technichs are discussed and different music therapeutical activities are developped along the treatment. The evaluation of the case shows the benefits music therapy brought to this patient and helps to justify the reason of being of music theraphy in a clinical context to help oncological patients.
