Claudio Naranjo "Significant form in the Ravel's Bolero"

ABSTRACT
This time, Claudio Naranjo carries out an analysis of the elementary meanings evoked by notes and rhythm in Ravel´s Bolero. The author states that this piece of work was composed as a way of evocating the divine; a formula repeated time after time trying to remember God more and more deeply and which final musical explosion expresses an ecstasy: while the tonic is related to the divine, the dominant refers to the human side.

KEYWORDS: Significant ways, repetition, for the divine, human.
