ABSTRACT
The author continues analyzing the sonata form with the trip of the life of the hero, parting from Beethoven´s "Eroica". In the present article, Claudio Naranjo reflects on the third movement ace to transitional moment between the second one, that symbolizes night and darkness, and the fourth, that embodies spiritual maturity and the final apotheosis. In the "Eroica", Beethoven uses the scherzo that expresses the beginning of a new life, after the death, represented by the funeral march.
